KNURE student – world champion as part of the Ukrainian national team

A student of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, Khapersky Timur Andreevich, a student of the AKTSI-25-1 group, confirmed the high level of sports training and worthily represented Ukraine and his native university in the international arena.
On June 13, 2026, prestigious international sports rock and roll competitions took place in Budapest (Hungary), in which Timur took part as part of the Ukrainian national team. At the World Cup in the Main Class Contact Style discipline, the athlete demonstrated a high level of skill and confidently entered the finals, competing with the strongest representatives of world rock and roll.
Timur Khapersky achieved his greatest success at the World Championship in the Formation Juniors discipline, where, as part of the Ukrainian national team, he won a gold award and received the title of world champion. The performance of the Ukrainian team became a shining example of professionalism, unity and an indestructible sports spirit.
It is especially pleasant that Timur not only successfully studies at KNURE and achieves high sporting results, but also actively participates in the development of student sports at the university. He acts as the person responsible for sports work at KNURE, coordinates the activities of seven people responsible for sports work at faculties and helps to attract students to physical education and sports. Thanks to his initiative and organizational skills, the university successfully hosts sporting events, tournaments and health programs.
Timur’s achievement is the result of many years of hard work, discipline, willpower and the desire for continuous improvement. With his successes, he glorifies Ukraine and the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics in the international sports arena, confirming the high level of training of KNURE students.

KNURE student – finalist of the European Championship in acrobatic rock and roll

On June 6, 2026, the European Acrobatic Rock and Roll Championship and the World Cup stage under the auspices of the World Rock and Roll Confederation (WRRC) took place in Bochum (Germany). The strongest athletes and teams from Europe took part in the prestigious international competitions, competing in the Main Class Freestyle, Main Class Contact Style, Girls Formation and Lady Formation disciplines.
The Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics was worthily represented by a student of the AKTAKIT-25-1 group, Timur Khapersky. As a result of a tense struggle, the athlete demonstrated a high level of skill and managed to enter the finals of the European Championship, which is a significant achievement in the international sports arena.
Reaching the finals of the continental championship confirms the high level of training of the athlete, his perseverance, determination and ability to successfully compete with the leading representatives of acrobatic rock and roll in Europe.
KNURE pays great attention to the development of student sports and support of talented youth, creating conditions for combining successful studies and a sports career. The achievement of Timur Khapersky is a striking example of how university students worthily represent Ukraine and KNURE at top-level international competitions.

KNURE student – winner of the Ukrainian WTF Taekwondo Championship and master of sports of Ukraine

The WTF Ukrainian Taekwondo Championship among adults and the Ukrainian Team Championship took place in Lvov, which brought together the strongest athletes from all regions of the country. The Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics was successfully presented by a student of the PZPI-23-1 group, Mikhail Sukhoterin.
Based on the results of intense fights, Mikhail won a silver award in the individual competition, taking an honorable second place among the best athletes of Ukraine. In addition, as a member of the Kharkov-1 men’s team, he became the winner of the Ukrainian Team Championship, winning a gold medal and confirming the high level of sportsmanship of the Kharkov taekwondo school.
A significant achievement for the athlete was also the presentation of the certificate of Master of Sports of Ukraine in WTF Taekwondo. This honorary sports title is the result of many years of hard work, high athletic performance and commitment to the chosen sport.
The success of Mikhail Sukhoterin is a striking example of combining quality education and sporting achievements. Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics pays significant attention to the development of student sports, creating conditions for the harmonious development of youth, supporting student participation in all-Ukrainian and international competitions.

KNURE team is the champion of the Kharkov student league in table tennis

The Kharkov Student League table tennis competitions, in which teams from higher educational institutions in Kharkov took part, have ended.
The combined team of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics confirmed its high level of skill and won 1st place among all participating teams.
The champion team included:
Ekaterina Gotsulyak (PZPI-22-6);
Ivan Vinnikov (ITSHI-23-1);
Alexander Yatsenko (PZPI-24-1).
The second team of KNURE, which took 8th place, also represented the university well. It included:
Anastasia Karpenko (ESTM-25-1);
Egor Glushchenko (KNT-23-2);
Akbar Hakverdiev (ESTMi-24-1);
Dmitry Dzhugur (ITSHI-24-1).
The training of athletes was carried out by teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Oksana Konovalenko and Olga Tovstoplet.
The team’s victory is the result of systematic work on the development of table tennis in KNURE. For many years, the university has remained one of the leaders in student table tennis in the Kharkov region. The Department of Physical Education and Sports has created conditions for regular training, training of athletes of various levels and student participation in city, regional and all-Ukrainian competitions.

Student of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics Timur Khapersky (group AKTAKKIT-25-1) successfully performed at the World Cup of Acrobatic Rock and Roll in the prestigious Main Class Contact Style category.
The sports couple adequately represented Ukraine on the international stage, entered the finals of the competition and demonstrated a high level of skill, artistry and sports training.
In addition to sporting achievements, Timur actively participates in the public life of the university and is responsible for mass sports work in the Student Senate of KNURE.
Currently, the athlete continues to prepare for the European and World Championships, where he will represent Ukraine and KNURE at the international level.
We wish Timur new victories, bright performances and successful conquest of world sports peaks!

KNURE is among the leaders of the Kharkov Student Chess League

Competitions of the Kharkov Student League in chess took place, in which 14 institutions of higher education in the city took part. The tournament brought together the strongest student chess players in Kharkov and became a true test of intelligence, endurance and teamwork.
The Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics is especially worth noting, because it was KNURE that became the only university that presented three teams at once. This once again confirms the active development of the chess movement at the university, the popularization of intellectual sports among students and the high level of training of athletes.

A NURE student successfully completed a full marathon in Austria.

On May 17, Ivan Konkov, a student from the KNT-24-3 group at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, took part in the prestigious international Salzburg Marathon, which took place in Austria.
Ivan successfully completed the full marathon distance – 42 km 195 meters – demonstrating a high level of physical fitness, endurance, fortitude, and athleticism.
Participating in international marathons is not only a significant athletic achievement, but also an example of determination, discipline, and an active lifestyle.
