On September 27, 2026, the KHARKIV WORKOUT CUP 2026 competition took place in Kharkov, uniting fans of street sports and athletic workout.
Student of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics Evgeniy Reprintsev, a student of the ESTM-26-1 group, demonstrated good physical fitness, strength and perseverance and took an honorable third place!
Congratulations to Evgeniy on an excellent result! We wish you not to stop there, confidently move to new sporting heights, win victories and worthily represent KNURE at upcoming competitions!

282 KNURE students joined the flash mob dedicated to the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine

From October 5 to October 9, 2026, a remote sports flash mob Step Touch + Clap (“Step to the side + clap”), dedicated to the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, took place at the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics.
282 KNURE students took part in the flash mob. Participants performed a simple, rhythmic movement pattern lasting one minute, combining side steps with hand clapping.
The event was organized with the aim of popularizing physical activity, a healthy lifestyle and attracting students to physical activity, even in the context of distance learning.
The flash mob became an opportunity to unite students around a joint initiative, demonstrate an active life position and honor the courage and invincibility of Ukrainian defenders and defenders.
Thanks to all students who joined the flash mob! Each participant contributed to the popularization of physical activity and the formation of a culture of healthy lifestyle in the university community.
282 participants – one university community, united by movement, support and gratitude to our defenders!

Ukrainian Artistic Gymnastics Championships

From September 4 to 8, the Ukrainian Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in Kyiv, which brought together athletes to compete for the highest results. A student of the APSm-26-1 group of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, Igor Dyshuk, demonstrated a high level of preparation and won 1st place in the competition! This victory is the result of hard training, willpower, discipline and the pursuit of excellence. Igor’s achievement is a source of pride for the university community and an excellent example of determination and dedication to sport. Congratulations to Igor on his outstanding sporting achievement! We wish you good health, inspiration, new achievements, self-confidence and further victories at all-Ukrainian and international competitions! We are proud of the successes of our students, who worthily represent NURE and multiply the sporting achievements of the university!

A new challenge lies ahead! On October 16, the Ukrainian Cup in Cossack wrestling will take place in the city of Rivne. We wish Andrey successful performance, bright fights and worthy representation of KNURE at the all-Ukrainian level!

З 26 по 30 вересня активні студенти Харківського національного університету радіоелектроніки відпочивають у мальовничому Яремче. Серед них спортсмени, члени студентського сенату, профспілковий актив і всі, хто щодня робить студентське життя університету яскравішим.
Ідея поїздки належить ректору ХНУРЕ Ігорю Рубану. Він запропонував відзначити студентів, які розвивають спорт, студентське самоврядування та громадське життя університету, представляють ХНУРЕ на змаганнях і заходах різного рівня. Втілила цю ідею Первинна профспілкова організація студентів ХНУРЕ, яка взяла на себе повну організацію поїздки – від планування до супроводу студентів у Карпатах.
Ці студенти – приклад активної життєвої позиції, наполегливості, командного духу та любові до ХНУРЕ. Вони організовують заходи, захищають честь університету на змаганнях, представляють інтереси студентів і надихають інших долучатися до життя університету. Під час поїздки студенти відпочивають, відновлюють сили, спілкуються та насолоджуються красою Карпат.

KNURE student is a prize-winner of the World Togizk Malak Championship

From September 21 to 27, 2026, the World Togyzkumalak Championship was held in Bucharest (Romania).
Student of the PPM-25-1 group of KNURE Egor Maksimov worthily represented Ukraine in the international arena and demonstrated a high level of skill.
3rd place – in the general adult standings in rapid speed.
1st place – in the international category!
This is a significant sporting achievement and an excellent result for a young athlete. We congratulate Egor Maksimov on his successful performance at the World Championship and wish him new victories, confident games and conquering the highest peaks in sports!

“Mountaineer” – let’s move together: the second sports flash mob took place in KNURE

From September 21 to 25, 2026, the second sports flash mob took place at the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of KhNURE and the IT Leader Sports Club.
This time, participants performed the Mountain Climbers exercise for 1 minute. 274 KNURE students joined the sports initiative, demonstrating activity, endurance and a desire to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
The flash mob was dedicated to International University Sports Day and took place in a remote format, which allowed students to join in the activity regardless of their location.
Mountain Climbers are a dynamic exercise that combines physical activity, coordination and endurance. The main goal of the flash mob was not only to complete the exercise, but also to unite students around sports, physical activity and team spirit.
Students from all faculties and training groups of KNURE joined the flash mob, uniting around sports, physical activity and team spirit.
Thanks to all 274 participants for their activity, energy and support of KNURE’s sports initiatives!

Let’s move together: a sports flash mob took place at KNURE

From September 8 to 14, 2026, a sports flash mob dedicated to the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine was held at the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics.
This time, KNURE students performed the Squat+Knee Drive exercise (“Squats + Knee Raise”) for 1 minute.
270 KNURE students joined the flash mob. Participants performed the exercise in a convenient location – at home, outdoors or during a workout, demonstrating that physical activity does not always require a gym.
The flash mob united students around a simple but important idea – to move, maintain your health and stay active.
Such sports initiatives contribute to the formation of a culture of healthy lifestyle, development of strength, endurance and coordination, and also create an atmosphere of team unity even in a remote format.
It is especially pleasant that students of different courses are involved in sports activity, because sport at KNURE is not only competitions and high results, but also daily care for one’s own health and well-being.
Thanks to all 270 participants for their activity, energy and desire to be part of the university’s sports life!

Every year on the second Saturday of September, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Physical Culture and Sports – the day of everyone who chooses movement, development and an active life.
Physical culture and sports in Ukraine are a large community of people who train, compete, teach, support each other and develop Ukrainian sports every day. These are athletes, coaches, sports workers, competition organizers and everyone who creates opportunities for sports.

Elena Tserkovna took part in the European Maxi-Basketball Championship

Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of KNURE Elena Tserkovnaya took part in the FIMBA European Maxi-Basketball Championship, held in Athens, Greece.
The KNURE representative competed as part of the Ukrainian national team among women aged 60+.
A large-scale international tournament brought together about 200 teams from 35 countries. Participants competed in age categories from 30 to 85 years old, proving that the love of sports, team spirit and the desire to win have no age limits.
In conditions of a full-scale war, members of the Ukrainian team found themselves in different countries of the world. However, commitment to basketball, long-term friendship and the desire to adequately represent Ukraine helped the athletes unite again on the court.
The Ukrainian team played five matches, scoring three victories. At the end of the championship, the team took ninth place among 15 teams in its age category.
Elena Tserkovnaya’s participation in the international tournament is not only a significant sporting achievement, but also a convincing example for student youth. Constantly train, maintain proper physical shape, participate in European championships and remain active at any age – this is how the understanding of sport as an inseparable part of life is confirmed.
A teacher’s personal example is one of the best ways to motivate students to engage in physical education, be responsible for their own health, and have an active lifestyle.
We congratulate Elena Tserkovnaya on her worthy performance on the European stage and wish her new sporting achievements, good health, inexhaustible energy and further victories!
