Career guidance meetings with schoolchildren
October 28 became a busy and truly bright day for the Department of Physical Education and Sports of KNURE and the Sports Club “IT-Leader”!
The day began with a career guidance meeting with schoolchildren at the metro school. Representatives of the educational and scientific institute of laser and biomedical engineering, led by the director of the institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Murad Anver oglu Omarov, presented educational opportunities, advantages and prospects for studying at KNURE to future applicants.
But it was the Department of Physical Education and Sports that attracted the students’ special attention! And this is no coincidence. The department actively uses student-athletes in career guidance work – university ambassadors, whom schoolchildren already recognize from publications and videos on social networks.
The meeting was joined by real university sports stars – representatives of the KNURE cheerleading team:
Serdyuk Valeria (KNT-24-3);
Zobnitskaya Maria (PZPI-23-2).
They were the ones who held a bright flash mob challenge for schoolchildren, charging everyone with positive emotions, energy and the desire to move!
The mini-competitions, which were organized by the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Natalya Didyuk and the deputy chairman of the IT Leader Sports Club Dmitry Konovalov, aroused no less admiration.
Everyone could try their hand, compete, demonstrate agility, activity and team spirit.
All winners of flash mobs, challenges and mini-competitions received pleasant gifts with the KNURE logo!
The most important thing is that the schoolchildren did not just observe, but actively took part in the events, asked questions and expressed interest in the opportunity to participate in sports competitions and train together with the athletes of our university.
This is exactly the result for which we work! After all, career guidance is not only about telling about the university, but also giving you the opportunity to feel its atmosphere, get to know students, see their achievements and want to become part of the big KNURE team.
KNURE is not only education, science and technology. It is also sports, active youth, bright emotions and new opportunities!
