Chess tournament
On October 15, 2025, the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics hosted a chess tournament dedicated to the University’s 95th anniversary.
Thirty-four participants, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff, participated in the competition.
This was more than just a game, but a true test of strategy, logic, and tactics.
The student winners were:
Among boys, 1st place – Ivan Tokarna, group KNT-23-1,
2nd place – Maksim Pivovarov, group EEK-22-1,
3rd place – Vladislav Propuszt, group ITSHI-23-2.
Among girls:
1st place – Daria Chebatareva, applicant,
2nd place – Margarita Sytnik, group PZPI-24-5,
3rd place – Milena Liganenko, group VSA-25-1.
Among teachers:
1st place – Sergey Khlamov, Senior Lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering
2nd place – Yaroslav Bragin, Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Education and Sports
3rd place – Roman Khromykh, Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Education and Sports
