Qualifying Ukrainian Powerlifting Championships

From February 18 to March 1, 2024, three qualifying Ukrainian Championships in powerlifting, bench press and classic bench press were held in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Members of the KNURE powerlifting team performed well at these prestigious competitions.
Alexander Shulepa (KIUKI-21-10) – 1st place in powerlifting among juniors
Alexander Shulepa (KIUKI-21-10) – 3rd place in powerlifting among adults
Alexandra Zaikina – 1st place in classic bench press among girls
Tatyana Slivka (VPVPS-21-5) – 3rd place in classic bench press among juniors
Alena Didyuk – 1st place in bench press among juniors
Natalya Didyuk (Senior Lecturer of the department PhES) – 1st place in the classic bench press and 1st place in the absolute weight category
Vera Popruga (MTTE-20-1) – 1st place in bench press among juniors
Vera Popruga (MTTE-20-1) – 1st place in classic bench press among juniors
As part of the national team of the Kharkov region, they took the following places in the team competition:
1st place in classic bench press among female veterans M2
2nd place in powerlifting among juniors
2nd place in men’s powerlifting
3rd place in classic bench press among girls
The coach, senior teacher of the PhES department, Natalia Aleksandrovna Didyuk, was awarded diplomas at the bench press and classic bench press championships for training the champions of Ukraine, Alena Didyuk and Alexandra Zaikina.
