The Association of Sappers of Ukraine conducted training
At the end of November, at the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, the Association of Sappers of Ukraine conducted training for teachers and staff of the university, dedicated to training in the rules of public safety and prevention of risks associated with explosive objects, as well as first aid in case of mine and blast damage. During the event, the participants got acquainted with the main types of hazardous objects, algorithms of actions in case of their detection and typical mistakes that should be avoided. Particular attention was paid to practical training: trainers demonstrated first aid techniques for victims, as well as self-help methods in case of injury.
Participants were provided with recommendations to improve personal safety, taking into account the risks associated with mines and other explosive objects, and stressed the importance of adapting their behaviour to modern living conditions. The training was a useful and informative event that increased the level of preparedness of teachers and staff to act in potentially dangerous situations.
