Ukrainian Cup in classical powerlifting

On November 23-27, 2023, the Ukrainian Cup in classical powerlifting was held in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. A student of our university, Alexander Shulepa (KIUKI-21-5), showing excellent results in squats – 220 kg, bench press – 120 kg, deadlift – 230 kg and triathlon total – 570 kg, for the first time fulfilled the standard of a Master of Sports of Ukraine in classical powerlifting in the weight category up to 74 kg at these prestigious competitions.
