Powerlifting team took III place in powerlifting
The national team of powerlifting of our university under the guidance of a trainer, senior lecturer of the department of PhES N. Didyuk took honorable III place among 17 teams of Kharkov in the regional sports competitions “Sport throughout life” among students of higher education institutions of the Kharkov region in power lifting, which took place on December 13-15, 2019 in the sports complex of KhTUBA.
The best of the best students of KHNURE defended the honor of our university in these competitions and showed high sports results and personal records.
So Bondarenko Yuri (AKTAKIT-16-2) collecting the amount of triathlon 630 kg. (squats – 225 kg., bench press – 150 kg. traction – 255 kg.) took III place in the category up to 120 kg. And for the first time he fulfilled the norm of the candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting.
Repeated the same standard of powerlifting Ivanov Vlad (EEPS-16-1) in the category of up to 80 kg. With a total of 512.5 kg. and Maximov Vyacheslav (KTRSm-19-1), who also took III place in the soybean weight category up to 83 kg. (squats – 212 kg., bench press – 142.8 kg. traction – 220 kg.) with a total of 575 kg.
The champions of these competitions were Brodyagina Darina (ITKN-18-3) in the weight category up to 52 kg. with the sum of triathlon 235 kg. (squats – 87.5 kg., bench press – 45 kg. traction – 102.5 kg.) and Igor Lukienko (AKTSIu-18-2) in the weight category up to 59 kg. with the sum of 385 kg. (squats – 135 kg., bench press – 95 kg. traction – 155 kg.).
The competition was also successful for Victoria Akhremenko (KNSI-17-1), who became the silver medalist in her weight category with a total of 240 kg. in three movements (squats – 85 kg., bench – 55 kg. traction – 100 kg.).
The debutants of these competitions Mazel Maria (KIUKIu-19-2), Nikitin Nikita (ESTMu-19-1), Alexander Scherbak (ITKN-18-9), Philip Kravchenko (ITKN-18-7), Gritsenko made a great contribution to the team event Ivan (KIUKI-18-5), Alexander Narvatov (PZPI-19-2).
The guys showed themselves perfectly at their first powerlifting competitions and set their personal records.
