Stanislav Tanyansky passed away

On January 4, at the age of 85, Stanislav Tanyansky, former head of the department of physical education and sports, passed away after a serious illness.

He worked at the department since 1969 as a senior lecturer, and from 1973 to 2019 as the head of the department.

During his career, Stanislav Tanyansky became the author of more than 85 scientific works, teaching aids and textbooks, Master of Sports in volleyball, and was awarded the Badge “Excellence in Education of Ukraine.”

He was always friendly to his colleagues, which earned him deep respect among staff and students.

The staff of the Department of Physical Education and Sports expresses condolences to the family and loved ones of Stanislav.
