University Championship in Badminton

December 9-10, 2019 in the KhPI sports complex there were held badminton competitions. Championship of Kharkov universities in the framework of the sports day “Sport throughout life.” The competition was attended by 15 national teams representing 10 universities in Kharkov.

The rank of the competition was very high, the titled athletes of Kharkov and the champions of Ukraine took part in them.

The KNURE team was represented by two teams. In a difficult struggle, the I team of our University took the II place, lost the victory to the KhPI team. The MIKST team consisted of Daria Mezentseva (group PZPI-16-6, faculty KN) and Alexey Mustetsov (group BIBMI-19-1, faculty ELBI) took second place.

The female couple was represented by Anna Shukalova (group KIUKI-19-3, faculty KIU) and Varvara Tisheninova (group PZPI-19-1, faculty KN) took III place.

The male couple was represented by Denis Vyskrebets (group PZPI-17-2, faculty KN) and Anatoly Botsyura (group ITKNu-18-1, faculty KN) took third place.

The second team of our university also performed with dignity.
