On December 1, in the sports hall of KNURE, with the support of the Boxing Federation of the Kharkov region, an open championship was held, in which students, teachers and future applicants of our University took part. The competitions were held in a warm, friendly atmosphere of the sports society and became the basis for the further formation of the national team to participate in regional boxing competitions.

On November 19-21, the All-Ukrainian volleyball tournament in memory of the HC of Ukraine Vladimir Ponomarenko took place.

In the nomination “Sports youth” the men’s national team of KNURE took 2st place!

On November 18-19, the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute hosted the Badminton Championship of the Higher educational institution in Kharkov. The team consisted of 6 people: A. Botsyura SPRM-21-1; A. Mustesov BIBMI-19-1; V. Tisheninova PZPI-19-1; A. Shukalova KIUKI-19-3; M. Kalyuzhnaya VPVPS-20-4; M. Osinskaya CTSA-21-1.

In the hardest struggle, our national team took the third place, passing ahead only the KhPI-1 and KhPI-2 teams, which included the strongest athletes of the Ukrainian national team and prize-winners of the European championships. In the mixed category, a pair of A. Mustetsov and A. Shukalova entered the final and took the honorable 2nd place.

From 05 to 08 November in the city of Melitopol took place the championship of Ukraine in the national type of combat sports – horting, in which the student of the Faculty of Computer Science Veronika Govorova took part. The performance turned out to be successful: in a tense struggle, Veronika became a champion and won the right to represent our country in the 2022 European Horting Championship as part of the Ukrainian national team.

Last week there was an example of a charity basketball tournament “Sports to Help Children”.

8 teams took part in the competition. The games lasted 3 days. Four teams reached the final: Legion, Mikhalich, KhNURE, Team HA. All teams showed an excellent basketball game!

Congratulations to Maria Berdnik on the Ukrainian Women’s Championship in 2021. A 2nd year student of KNURE group PZPI-20-5 took 1st place in the 2021 Ukrainian Rapid Chess Championship.

From October 22 to October 24, the traditional competitions of the Cup of Ukraine in goju-ryu karate took place in Odessa in which a student of the Faculty of Computer Science Veronika Roshka took part. In tense fights with the best karate women of Ukraine, Veronika won an honorable third place.

Congratulations on the victory of the student of KhNURE, the AKTS-21-2 MS rock climbing group Ilya Manyakin! Which took 1st place in the final of the Cup of Ukraine in rock climbing in the form of difficulty and 2nd place in the form of bouldering, which took place on October 14, 2021 in Kiev.

According to the protocol of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies dated 07.10.2021 “On the current epidemic situation and the introduction of additional quarantine restrictions on the territory of the city of Kharkov” and due to the fact that the organizers will not be able to ensure a safe distance at the start and finish for participants of the race, it was decided to postpone the Kharkov International Marathon. The event will take place as soon as the epidemiological situation returns to normal.
