In Belgorod-Dniester from June 1 to June 2, 2019, the Cossack World Cup was held. Elizaveta Shevchenko, a student of the AKTAKІT-18-1 group, took the first two places in this competition.

The men’s national team of KhNURE in Volleyball, under the leadership of Dmitry Konovalov, took the first place in the Championship of the Student League in Kharkоv. In the competition took part 13 student teams. In the final, the teams met KhNURE and KhGAFC. Our team won 3:0.

From May 18 to May 25, 2019, the World Powerlifting Championship was held in Tokyo (Japan). More than a thousand participants from around the world came to this championship. So, in our prestigious competitions, our strongest athletes of the KNURE powerlifting team in the national team of Ukraine took part.

Mikhail Yastrebov (TRREAа-17-1), in a bitter struggle for a champion title with a representative of the Kazakhstan team lost only 2.5 kg., took the second step of the pedestal. With a score of 125 kg. In the weight category up to 53 kg. Mikhail became the silver winner of the 2019 World Cup.

April 25, 2019 passed an open tournament (О.М. Beketov NUUE) on arm wrestling among students of the IHE I-IV accreditation levels, dedicated to the memory of the Honored Coach of Ukraine Valeriy Klochko. Students of our university Vladislav Lutskov (ITINF-17-2) and Bildiy Dmitriy (TRREA-17-1) took part in these competitions. The guys performed decently and showed high competitive results in the struggle on their hands. So KMS Lutskov Vladislav won III place. Dmitry Bildy won in his weight category, took the highest step of the pedestal and received a gold medal.

April 25, 2019 in Kharkov passed the championship of the Kharkov region in weightlifting. In the weight category up to 67 kg. student of our university Kryklya Alexander (TRRT-17-1) with a double-event sum of 138 kg. took III place.

From April 23 to April 25 in Kharkiv, in the Lokomotiv Palace of Sports, the Ukrainian Cossack Fight Championship competitions were held, which became a bright event in the world of martial arts. Students of our University Sergey Kovtun (gr. ITKN-17-1) and Shevchenko Elizaveta (gr. AKTAKIT-18-1) participated in the national team of Ukraine at these competitions. In tense fights with the best fighters of the continent, they showed a high level of athletic preparedness and by beating all rivals won the gold medals of the championship. The bronze medal was won by an experienced athlete, a graduate of the Faculty of Computer Science, master of sports of Ukraine of international class in kickboxing Andrei Botsman.
