KNURE athletes became winners of the Regional Cup in Cossack duel

From 5 to 7 March 2021, the traditional competitions of the Kharkov Region Cup from the Cossack duel were held. Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics was represented by students Veronika Roshka and Veronika Govorova. The performance was successful – they took first places in their weight categories, which allowed them to join the regional team to participate in the Cup of Ukraine. Athletes for the competition were prepared by the Honored Coach of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Andrei Litvinenko and senior teachers Georgy Krukovsky and Roman Khromykh.

Classic Bench Press Championship

On March 6, 2021, the Kharkov Championship in the classic bench press was held, in which about 100 athletes took part: boys and girls, juniors and juniors, men and women.
As part of the KNURE national team in powerlifting, numerous prize-winners and champions of the Kharkov region in bench press performed. Our students showed their best results and confirmed the titles of the strongest athletes at these prestigious competitions, which are qualifying for the Ukrainian championship in the classic bench press.

At the championship of the Kharkov region in armwrestling, a student of our university, CMS Vladislav Lutskov (ITINF-17-2) in the weight category up to 90 kg became a two-time champion of these competitions in wrestling on the left and on the right hands.

04.03.2021 in the sports hall of the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport the championship of the kharkov region in sports aerobics took place.
More than 80 athletes took part in the competition.
Volleyball tournament “Spring Bouquet”

For the International Women’s Day on March 8, a volleyball tournament among women’s teams “Spring Bouquet” was held.
In a vivid struggle for the right to decorate a bouquet with their own flowers, three women’s teams fought.

Flippers Swimming Championship

In the Sports Complex “Polytechnic” (KhPI) from 08.02.2021 to 09.02.2021 the open Championship of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region in swimming in fins was held. Skofenko Denis Pavlovich became the winner. MTIOLS-20-1, which took III place.


Ukrainian Sambo Championship

On February 4-7, at the Kharkiv Sports Palace, the Championship of Ukraine among juniors in sambo wrestling was held.
Student gr. PZPI-20-6 Poronko Kirill took the III place in the weight category 79 kg.

A charity basketball tournament took place
03.02.2021
On February 2-3, a charity basketball tournament dedicated to the memory of Yevhen Borokhovsky took place at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. 12 teams took part in the competition, of which the final included: Legion, Brazzers, NURE. In the final the team of NURE won. All funds raised during the charity tournament will be used to help children.

Educational training trip

For 3 days, the section of sports tourism, consisting of seven people, was in a training campaign across the Kharkov region in the Semiozero region. We walked 15-17 km a day. The skills of carrying out rescue operations, conducting a camping life were worked out, and our region was partially studied during difficult weather conditions.


The departments of PhES and BME announced joint scientific research

The Departments of Physical Education and Sports and Biomedical Engineering announced joint scientific research related to determining the potential capabilities of athletes. It is planned to do this with the help of a device for testing nasal breathing developed at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, which, based on measuring the pneumatic power of respiration when performing various types of loads, will allow to determine the potential capabilities of athletes and perform an individual selection of training.
