Ukrainian Volleyball Cup
21.06.2024
Last week the Ukrainian Volleyball Cup among veterans was held in Poltava. 72 teams took part in the competition in 16 categories: 9 men’s and 7 women’s.
The victory among men in the 55+ category was won by the Loko-Veteran team from Kharkov.
The team included an employee of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Igor Kondratyev.

All-Ukrainian round table

On June 14, 2024, an All-Ukrainian round table “Modern trends in the development of physical education in higher education institutions of Ukraine under martial law” was held at the Department of Physical Education of the Yaroslav the Wise National Law University. Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of KNURE Vladimir Konovalov also took part in it with a report “Management of physical training of military personnel of the Security Service of Ukraine in the conditions of military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.”

Table tennis competition

On June 13, table tennis competitions were held in Kharkov according to the Spartakiad program among higher education institutions.
The KNURE national team consisting of: Egor Gutsulyak BMIm-23-1, Ivan Vinnikov ITSHI-23-1, Ekaterina Goreshny PZPI-22-6 became the Champions of the Spartakiad, leaving behind the 10 strongest institutions of higher education in Kharkov! Coach of the KNURE table tennis team Oksana Konovalenko.

European Powerlifting Championships

On May 7-12, 2024, the European Junior and Junior Women’s Powerlifting Championships were held in Hamm (Luxembourg).
As part of the Ukrainian national powerlifting team, a student of our university, Master of Sports of Ukraine, Alexander Shulepa (KIUKI-21-10) performed well, who became the bronze medalist of these prestigious international competitions with a total triathlon result of 650 kg and won 2 small silver medals in squats, with a result of 265 kg, and in the deadlift, with a result of 250 kg. Congratulations to Alexander on his excellent debut and we wish him further success in sports!

Ukrainian Cheerleading Championship

On April 13, 2024, the Ukrainian Cheerleading Championship was held in the Lviv region. The participants competed in a picturesque corner of the city of Vinniki, in the hall of the Emily sports complex! The participants came from different cities of Ukraine, there were many children in different categories. The “Nice Ladies” team took part in the “Masters 25+” age category. The audience applauded the entire team’s performance! Among the participants of this team was the senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Tamara Gorshankova! The judges highly appreciated the performance, the team became the Champion of Ukraine! The team’s further plans are preparation and participation in the European Championship, which will take place on July 6-7 in Germany (Wiesbaden). Congratulations and wish the team further success!!!

City Cheerleading Championship “Indestructible Kharkov”

On March 30, the City Cheerleading Championship “Indestructible Kharkov” took place in our indestructible Kharkov. Senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Tamara Gorshankova participated in the team that received the well-deserved gold. Now the team is preparing for a trip to the Ukrainian Championship, which will be held in Lviv. We wish the team victory.

International Taekwon-Do competitions
17.03.2024
In March, a student of the ACT faculty of the AKTAKIT-20-2 group, Kirill Redkin, as part of the national national Taekwon-do team of Ukraine, took part in the international competition Roma Open 2024, held in Rome.
Kirill had 4 fights in the weight category up to 75 kg and became a prize-winner of the competition, namely, he won 3rd place in the “Sparring” program in the individual competition, and also took 2nd place in team sparring.

Qualifying Ukrainian Powerlifting Championships

From February 18 to March 1, 2024, three qualifying Ukrainian Championships in powerlifting, bench press and classic bench press were held in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Members of the KNURE powerlifting team performed well at these prestigious competitions.

Alexandra Zaikina – 1st place in classic bench press among girls

As part of the national team of the Kharkov region, they took the following places in the team competition:

The coach, senior teacher of the PhES department, Natalia Aleksandrovna Didyuk, was awarded diplomas at the bench press and classic bench press championships for training the champions of Ukraine, Alena Didyuk and Alexandra Zaikina.

Ukrainian Taekwon-Do ITF Championship

From February 22 to 25, the Ukrainian ITF Taekwon-B Championship competitions took place in the city of Vinnitsa, at which student gr. ITINF-23-2 (Faculty of Information and Analytical Technologies and Management) Vladislava Varvashevich. In two types of competition program, she won a silver and bronze medal at the championship. We wish Vladislava success in his future sports starts!

19th Summer Universiade of Ukraine in Taekwondo

On February 19-20, the PTF taekwondo competitions of the 19th Summer Universiade of Ukraine took place in Khmelnitsky, in which 56 athletes from 12 regions of Ukraine took part. Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics was represented at these competitions by a student of the Faculty of Infocommunications, Master of Sports of Ukraine Elizaveta Khristenko. In a fight against stronger Ukrainian athletes, Elizaveta won second place in the 62 kg weight category. We wish Elizabeth further success in sports and education.

Open city tournament in classic powerlifting

On February 17, 2024, an Open city tournament in classical powerlifting was held in Lokhvitsa, Poltava region. A student of our university, Oleg Shevchenko (ITINF-22-2), competed at these competitions in the weight category up to 74 kg and became the champion in the bench press with a result of 95 kg. Congratulations to the athlete on a successful performance!

Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship

On February 9, 2024, the Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship among adults was held in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. A student of our university, one of the strongest athletes in the strength sports section, MSU Alexander Shulepa (KIUKI-21-5), showing excellent results in squats – 230 kg, bench press – 110 kg, deadlift – 202.5 kg and triathlon total – 542., took third place and won four bronze medals (three small in each movement and one large for the total) in the weight category up to 83 kg at these prestigious competitions. But at this championship, Alexander will compete in his age category and will compete for a place in the Ukrainian national junior team. We are looking forward to this performance and cheering for the student from our university!
