From November 18 to November 21, in the city of Heroes of Odessa, competitions of the Ukrainian Goju-Ryu Karate Championship were held, in which 276 athletes from 12 regions of our state and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine took part. Yulia Gladskikh, a student of the IRTI Faculty, took the honorable first place as part of the national team of the Kharkov region at the Championship.

November 18 Kharkov mayor Igor Terekhov congratulated the youth on the Student’s Day.

For an active citizenship, participation in scientific and social activities, the formation of the intellectual potential of Ukraine Uvarova Victoria, a student of our university group IUSTm-22-1 KN of the faculty.

On October 28, the city of Poznan (Poland) hosted the Final of the World Cup in finswimming.

A student of the group IUSTm 22-1 KN of the faculty Victoria Uvarova took three 1st places and two 2nd places.

On October 22, Poltava hosted the Open Championship of the Poltava region in rowing on Dragon boats, dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks.

On October 16, 2022, the OCTOBER RUN charity run started in Kharkov, the funds raised from which will be spent on food assistance to the poor.

Natalya Didyuk, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education, took part in these competitions. She took 2nd place and set a personal record at a distance of 10 km – 55 minutes. The previous one was 58 minutes.

On October 15 and 16, the All-Ukrainian volleyball tournament in memory of Olympic Champion S. Lyugailo was held in Poltava. under the patronage of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. As part of the national team of Kyiv in the category 60+, the senior lecturer of the Department of Physical and Internal Affairs Igor Kondratiev took part. The team took 1st place. On October 11, at the age of 53, Ponomarenko Elena, a senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sports, died after a severe and protracted illness.

She has been working at the department since November 7, 2018.

A student of KNURE became a master of sports of Ukraine in karate!!!

NURE students conduct sports training and take part in the sports life of our country and the world. Having successfully performed at the Ukrainian Karate Championship, Dmitry Dudka (KIUKI-20-5 group) fulfilled the relevant standard and was awarded the honorary sports title “Master of Sports of Ukraine”.

September 14 in the city of Viveron (Italy) hosted the World Championship in swimming in fins (marathon). The national team of Ukraine, which included a student of the group IUST-22-1 of the faculty of KN Victoria Uvarova, took second place. Congratulations and we wish you continued success.

September 20 is International University Sports Day. This holiday was approved by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in 2015. Since that time, every year on September 20, student festivals, competitions, educational and cultural events are held around the world. Let sport always remain a reliable friend for you in any situation. Never rest on your laurels and always go to your goals. Train, learn and be leaders!
