A student of KNURE became the silver medalist of the European University Games

A student of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics Elizaveta Khristenko took part in the Olympic Taekwondo competitions at the European University Games – 2022, which took place in Poland, the city of Lodz, from July 16 to July 30 and won a silver medal.

Open championship in boating “Dragon”

Finswimming World Championships

From July 18 to July 23, the World Finswimming Championship was held in Colombia, the city of Cali. Our student of the group KN-18-6 Victoria Uvarova won prizes in the following disciplines:
100 m fin swimming – 3rd place.

Opening ceremony of the European University Games

On July 17, the official opening ceremony of the European University Games – 2022 took place. The main sports arena of the Polish city of Lodz, Atlas Arena, could hardly accommodate those wishing to attend the opening of the sports festival.
This year, about 5,000 athletes from 40 countries of the world, representing 400 universities in their countries, are taking part in the European University Games. Ukraine is represented by 234 students from 45 leading universities of the country, among which is a student of KNURE Elizaveta Khristenko.

Finswimming World Cup

April 23-24 World Cup was held in the city of Leipzig (Germany) in finswimming.
A 2nd year student of the faculty of KIU Ekaterina Vashchenko and a 4th year student of the faculty of CS Victoria Uvarova took 2nd place in relay swimming.

Dear students! Department of PhES starts distance learning. Considering the conditions and condition of all of us today, we offer you our classes as one of the ways to deal with stress. During a workout, you can at least briefly disconnect from the endless stream of news and shift the focus of attention to the body. In addition, regular physical activity will help keep the body in good shape and will contribute to better health and emotional state. Therefore, if possible, at least small sets of exercises should be included in the daily routine. Start with short workouts. Recover gradually and remember that even 10 minutes of sports a day is better than nothing.

Cup World swimming in fins

KIU faculty student Yekaterina Vashchenko (gr. KIUKI-20-5) took third place in the 100m distance at the first (FISU) World Cup in Finswimming, held on April 1-2 in Lignano Sabba, Italy.
