On September 3-4, the Ukrainian Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in Kyiv.
Our university student, Igor Dishuk, from the ITSHI-22-4 group, won second place in the team competition and first and second place individually.

Congratulations on the start of the new academic year and this special occasion – your induction as a student! We wholeheartedly welcome you to our large university family! The Department of Physical Education and Sports congratulates you and hopes your student years will be a time of not only intellectual but also physical growth. The Lviv Regional WKF Karate Championship was held in Lviv on August 30. Our university student, Ilya Kurilko, from the KNT-24-3 group, won third place in the men’s 67 kg category.

August 20-23, 2025, the Ukrainian Taekwondo Championship in Olympic Weight Categories was held in Lviv.
Our university student Mikhail Sukhoterin, group PZPI-23-1, won second place in the weight category – 68 kilograms.

The European Underwater Swimming Championships were held in Olsztyn, Poland, on July 15-21, 2025.
Our university student Kateryna Vaschenko, group ISTm-24-1, competed as part of the Ukrainian national team.
Kateryna set a NEW UKRAINIAN RECORD at a distance of 200 meters!
Congratulations to Kateryna on her new achievement!

The World University Games were held in the Rhine-Ruhr region (Germany) from July 16 to 27, 2025. About 300 gymnasts from 50 countries took part in the artistic gymnastics competitions.
Igor Dyshchuk, a student of our university, group ITSHI-22-4, reached the finals of the world Universiade and took 7th place in the exercise horse-swing personally.
Well done! Keep it up!

On June 14-16, 2025, the Ukrainian Volleyball Championship among veterans was held in Poltava. The «Loko-Veteran» team, in which the head of the educational laboratory of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Igor Kondratyev plays, took first place in the 60+ category.
Congratulations to the champions!

From May 28 to May 31, 2025, the Ukrainian Underwater Sports Championship was held in Kyiv, which at the same time became a qualifying round for the European Championship.
Ekaterina Vaschenko (group ISTm-24-1), Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class, became a six-time champion of Ukraine.
In total, Ekaterina won 7 medals at these competitions and fulfilled 3 official qualification standards for participation in the European Championship. Ekaterina Vaschenko became a member of the Ukrainian national team.

Today is the day when you can change your life for the benefit of your own health, the world celebrates World No Tobacco Day. This day was started to popularize a healthy lifestyle, the benefits of clean air, and freedom from tobacco smoke.
Tobacco poisoning intensifies the course of any disease. Unfortunately, smoking remains one of the most common harmful household habits in the world and the main cause of premature death.

On May 23-27, competitions among higher education institutions in table tennis were held in Kharkov.
The players demonstrated not only skill and accuracy of strikes, but also real sporting passion, thirst for victory and endurance.
The atmosphere was filled with emotions!
16 teams participated in the competition.
In the final, the distribution of places was as follows:
1st place – team of KNURE-1
2nd place – team of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture.
3rd place – team of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University.
4th place – team of KNURE-2.

1. Egor Gutsulyak – graduate of the ELBI faculty
2. Ekaterina Goreshnya, group PZPI-22-6.

The IBBA European Veterans Volleyball Championship was held in Pescara, Italy, from May 20 to 25.
Our employee, head of the educational laboratory of the Physical Education and Sports Department, Igor Kondratyev, played in the 60+ team.
The Ukrainian 60+ team won 2nd place, losing to the Italians in the final.
Congratulations to the silver medalists of these competitions.
