To celebrate the 95th anniversary of Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, the Department of Physical Education and Sports held the “PULL-UP 95” competition, a pull-up competition for boys, and the “FLOOR POWER 95” floor push-up competition for girls.
The competition took place from September 29 to October 2, 2025, and brought together the most active students, demonstrating strength, endurance, and true athletic spirit.
The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation and a thirst for victory, confirming that sports are an integral part of student life at KNURE.
Following the competition, the winners were determined:
“PULL-UP 95” boys’ pull-up:
1st place – Anton Shikitka, group PZPI-24-7, with 31 score.
2nd place – Bogdan Fedorets, group KNT-25-1, with 29 score.
3rd place – Maxim Glebov, group KNT-25-1, with 28 score.
“FLOOR POWER 95” with floor push-ups for girls:
1st place – Nadezhda Leonova, group VPVSS-25-1, with 30 score.
Anastasia Naboka, group PZPI-24-1, with 30 score.
Sofia Trubchaninova, group VPVPS-23-1, with 30 score.
2nd place – Valeria Shuldiner, group KIUKI-24-1, with a score of 26.
3rd place – Sofia Shmatko, group KUIB-22-1, with a score of 24.
The students proved that a generation is growing at KNURE that values exercise, health, and team spirit.
It was a truly athletic celebration that left them feeling energized and proud of their university.

From September 29 to October 3, 2025, the Department of Physical Education and Sports is holding a flash mob for first-to fifth-year students dedicated to Defenders of Ukraine Day.
89 students participated in the flash mob.

The WAKO Flanders Open Kickboxing Cup took place in Beveren, Belgium, on September 28. Our university student, Roman Mashkin, from the PZPI-24-4 group, won first and second place among juniors and adults in the 69 kg weight category.

From September 15 to September 19, the Department of Physical Education and Sports held a flash mob dedicated to International University Sport Day.
115 students from first to fifth years of study at Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics (NURE) participated in the flash mob.

This global holiday highlights the important role of sport in higher education institutions. Celebrated annually on September 20, this day celebrates the synergy between academic achievement and athletic excellence. Sport strengthens not only the body but also the spirit, teaching teamwork, overcoming challenges, and always striving for your goals. On September 3-4, the Ukrainian Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in Kyiv.
Our university student, Igor Dishuk, from the ITSHI-22-4 group, won second place in the team competition and first and second place individually.

The Lviv Regional WKF Karate Championship was held in Lviv on August 30. Our university student, Ilya Kurilko, from the KNT-24-3 group, won third place in the men’s 67 kg category.

August 20-23, 2025, the Ukrainian Taekwondo Championship in Olympic Weight Categories was held in Lviv.
Our university student Mikhail Sukhoterin, group PZPI-23-1, won second place in the weight category – 68 kilograms.

The European Underwater Swimming Championships were held in Olsztyn, Poland, on July 15-21, 2025.
Our university student Kateryna Vaschenko, group ISTm-24-1, competed as part of the Ukrainian national team.
Kateryna set a NEW UKRAINIAN RECORD at a distance of 200 meters!
