NURE student became the winner of the international karate tournament in the Czech Republic

Despite the war waged by Ukraine against a cruel and insidious enemy, NURE students not only continue their education, but also train and take part in prestigious international competitions.

23-30.04 in Klaipeda, Lithuania, the Scuba Diving World Cup took place. The national team of Ukraine took first place and won 27 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze medals. Students of KhNURE Victoria Uvarova and Ekaterina Vashchenko took part in these competitions. Vika student gr. IUST-22m-2 won 4 gold and 1 silver medals. Ekaterina, a student of KIUKI-20-5, received 2 gold medals in relay swimming. Congratulations to the team and our girls.

10-14.04.2023 All-Ukrainian competition “Olympic Hopes” in archery took place in Lvov. A student of the ITSHI-22-4 group Sofia Postelnyak (master of sports of Ukraine) took 2nd place in the team standings as part of the Kharkiv region national team.

From April 5 to April 12, 2023, the Ukrainian championship in classical powerlifting among students of the Western Military District was held in Lviv. Teams from 15 universities of the country took part in these prestigious competitions, including the powerlifting team from our Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. One of the strongest athletes were students representing universities of physical culture from Lvov and Kharkov. But, despite the fierce competition among the participants and the specifics of the universities, our university climbed to the second step of the podium of respect, leaving behind its longtime rival, the team of the Kharkov Academy of Physical Culture, and lost only to the hosts of these competitions – Lviv University of Physical Culture.

From April 01 to April 05, 2023, the championship of Ukraine in classical powerlifting among juniors and juniors was held in Lviv, in which a student of our university Vera Popruga (MTTE-20-1) took part

A titled athlete, repeated winner of the Ukrainian championships in classical powerlifting and bench press, Vera, with a triathlon of 370 kg, confidently won a gold medal and became the champion of these important qualifying competitions before international standards.

On March 18-25, 2023, the city of Yulinek (Poland) hosted the European Championship in draughts-100 among youth. Master of Sports of Ukraine in checkers Vera Popruga (MTTE-20-1), in a bitter struggle with experienced rivals, took the top line of the podium and added the gold medal of the European Championship to her arsenal of medals.

12-16.03.2023 in Kamyanets-Podilskyi the championship of Ukraine in classic bench press was held. A student of our university, silver medalist of the European Championship 2023, Vera Popruga (MTTE-20-1) took part in the competition and, with a result of 70 kg in the bench press, became the champion of Ukraine among juniors in her weight category.

On February 25, 2023, the Kharkov Open Championship in classical powerlifting among juniors and juniors was held. Athletes of the strength sports section under the guidance of coach Natalia Didyuk successfully performed at these competitions and won prizes. Larisa Pilyuk (KUIB-20-1) competed among juniors in the weight category up to 52 kg and took 1st place with a triathlon result of 185 kg (65+45+75). Among juniors in the weight category up to 74 kg, Konstantin Bondarenko (YUZP) -21-3) competed and took 2nd place with a result in triathlon of 435 kg (150+115+170), and Rustam Fabrovan (EEPS-19-1) in that in the same age category, but in the weight category up to 83 kg and with a triathlon result of 445 kg (165+110+170) took the honorable 3rd place. We wish further success to the athletes and the coach in further training and conquering even more prestigious competitions!

Evgeniy Fursal (PZPI-22-4) 18.02.2023 competed at the Estonian Classical Powerlifting Championship in the city of Tartu in the weight category up to 74 kg. He showed the best result among young men of his age and weight category. Squats – 175 kg, bench press – 100 kg, deadlift – 205 kg. Since Evgeny is not an Estonian citizen, he competed outside the score, but his triathlon, 480 kg, turned out to be the best and much more than the triathlon of the athlete who won first place.

So, a student of our university, Evgeny Fursal, is the strongest of all young men in Estonia. Congratulations to the athlete on a good result!

16.02.2023 in the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Championship of Ukraine in powerlifting among juniors was held. Oleksandr Shulepa (KIUKI-21-5), a student of our university, one of the strongest athletes in the section of power sports (coach N. Didyuk), candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting, showed excellent results in squats – 192.5 kg, in the bench press – 100 kg, in the deadlift – 202.5 kg and in the triathlon – 495 kg, he took third place and became a three-time winner of bronze medals in the weight category up to 74 kg at these prestigious competitions.

On February 12-14 in the city of Brovary the Championship of Ukraine in finswimming was held. Students of our university Ekaterina Vashchenko gr. KIUKI 20-5 and Victoria Uvarova gr. IUSTm-22-2 became the champions of these competitions in their disciplines.

On February 11, in the City of Heroes of Kharkov, a veteran volleyball tournament was held in memory of our countryman, Olympic Champion Yuriy Poyarkov. Despite the difficult time, 12 teams from Poltava, Sumy, Krasny Kut, as well as teams from Kharkov and the region took part in the tournament. Senior lecturer of the Department of PhES Igor Kondratiev took part in this tournament. Among the guests of honor were representatives of the Mayor’s Office, the regional state administration of the Olympic Committee of the Kharkov region. Thanks to the Armed forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to hold such events! Glory to Ukraine !!!
